Have I told you how thankful I am for you, friend?

Probably not enough, so let me say it now: THANK YOU!

Thank you for volunteering, for donating, for shopping at the ReStore, for reading (most of) our emails, for sharing your stories, for sending your creative and brilliant ideas, for spreading joy to everyone around you, for listening, for speaking up, for calling your legislators, for fighting hatred and bigotry, for showing up for our neighbors. Thank you for all of the ways, big and small, that you stand up for our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

I'm thankful because together, we've built more than 130 homes with our neighbors in need of better housing. Behind every nail we drive is something radical: hope. Hope calls us to action. Hope allows us to believe that a better world is possible, but only when we act. Hope starts with us.

Finally, as we celebrate Thanksgiving, thank you to our indigenous brothers and sisters on whose land we all live.

With gratitude,

Christine Schudde
Executive Director
